AN HONOUR TO CHERISH – From Dr. Wolfgang Hackl
( Austria)
A Certificate of Recognition & Support to our Film Mahalakshmi Path-The Evolution from Wolfgang Hackel ( Austria) , Director of The World Foundation, Cabella Ligure, Italy. AN HONOUR TO CHERISH
Dearest Brother,
I am writing to you because I am a bit worried that a wonderful piece of work of Sahaj culture and a unique chance to reach and enlighten masses might be wasted.
Recently, we had Sanjay Talwar with us, who was invited for our Diwali seminar. I have known Sanjay since the beginning of my Sahaj life in 1983. We came into Sahaja Yoga more or less at the same time. I know him as a singer very much respected by Shri Mataji until the end. I know him from so many tours through India, Europe, Australia, and summers in Cabella when he was part of Baba Mama’s Nirmal Sangeet Sarita. Most of all, I know him as a dear and trusted brother.
He told me a while ago that Mother had asked him to do a film on Sahaja Yoga. Actually, I saw him on stage in Delhi when he showed Shri Mataji his poem and when this situation occurred—I think it was in 2003.
Our collective was very curious to watch his film, especially after learning about the 92 national (India) and international awards. We never had any recognition of our artists like this in our Sahaj history.
Watching the film, I was very surprised to see a very straightforward advertisement of Sahaja Yoga with beautiful and powerful pictures of Shri Mataji, packed into a storyline that delicately shows the beauty of relationships and the respect for the Lakshmi of the house. It very well depicts our values and how our meditation, through the blessings of Shri Mataji, solves many life problems.
From time to time, you have Sanjay flashing into the picture with his beautiful songs, like an avatar in a computer game. This, combined with the very direct Sahaj life-lessons, could easily appear a bit greasy if it were not for the incredible radiance of vibrations, which shed the light of truth in a very bright manner, obviously able to reach the heart.
This might have been the reason why so many western juries also awarded the film—stunning.
Of course, we are going to support the film to be shown in cinemas and theatres in our country, but the language issue is still there. You do not have that problem in the US, and that is why The Mahalakshmi Path could enchant so many seekers in the US. It is such a perfect feel-good icebreaker for Realization, and I hope that the US can take full advantage of it. Especially in times like this, it is so much needed.
I have heard rumors and political quicksand issues coming from India that could jeopardize the vast potential of this project for the US and other English-speaking countries.
Please, dear brother, watch the film and ask the question: could the film bring vibrations and open the door for Realization?
I know that Sanjay wants to give it for free, which makes me a bit worried about how this project would be financed.
I am writing to you because I very much care for the land of Shri Krishna. We were once sent to the US by Shri Mataji to perform The Magic Flute, which pleased Her so much. We couldn’t have achieved anything at all if not for the backup of the US Yogis.
But we received this backup, and the Goddess gave me the moment of my life by kissing my Sahasrara at the end of the first show in New York.
May She kiss your Sahasraras too, by supporting this project initiated by Her as well.
With all my Love,
Wolfgang
