- Raaga Shyama Kalyan is obviously belong to Kalyan That. It excludes Ga and Dha in Aaroh and includes all the notes in Aavroh that’s why he is Odav-Sampurna Raaga. It has Tivra Ma in Aaroh and Shuddh Ma in Aavroh.
- The Raagas near to this raaga are Kamod and Kalyan. There is some doubts of Vadi and Samvadi notes. Some believes those are respectively Pa and Sa and some believes those are Re and Pa respectively.
